Terms of Use
These terms set out the understanding between a reader and the editorial office of Delta Volume Docs when the pages of this reference are consulted.
Acceptance
By reading the pages of this reference, a reader accepts these terms. A reader who does not accept them should leave the site. The terms apply to every page served under the name deltavolumedocs.org.
Purpose of the reference
The material is expository writing on the mathematical theory of probability and statistics, prepared for study and citation. It is theoretical throughout. Nothing on the site is offered as professional guidance, and nothing on the site is intended to be relied upon as a basis for a decision in any particular matter.
Use of the material
A reader may read, quote and cite the material for study, teaching and research, provided that the source is named. Governing reading
These terms are to be read together with the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy and the Disclaimer, each of which forms part of the understanding between the office and the reader. Where two of them appear to conflict, the more specific governs the matter it addresses.
Severability
If a provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force, and the unenforceable one is read as narrowly as it can be so that its purpose is kept where the law allows. The understanding between the office and the reader is not undone by the failure of a single clause.
